The Mull of Kintyre Flying Club is located at Campbeltown Airport, also known by its MOD name as Machrihanish.  Located on the stunning Mull of Kintyre peninsula on the West Coast of Scotland, the club was founded in response to demand and operates from the Control Tower building at Machrihanish Airfield.  The airfield boasts the longest runway in Europe, which is 3049 metres or nearly 3 miles long.

The superb flying conditions on the Mull of Kintyre -unrestricted airspace, very little air traffic and beautiful surroundings provide a unique and pleasurable flying experience.  Machrihanish Airport also provides an ideal quite training environment for cadets.

The club currently operates Robin HR200 aircraft for training or hire.
